Country Style Cole Slaw

This is an old recipe in the southern US.

1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tbs sugar
2 tbs cider vinegar
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp dry mustard
1/8 tsp celery seeds
4 cups coarsely shredded cabbage
3/4 cup coarsely shredded carrots
1/2 cup diced green pepper
2 tbs sliced green onions

In medium bowl stir together first 6 ingredients. Add remaining ingredients; toss to coat well. Cover; chill at least 2 hours.

Makes 4 cups.
