This is an old Southern recipe that was really popular in the south from the late 1800s up through the 1950s. We still enjoy it.
- 1 unbaked pie shell
- 4 eggs beaten
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 stick of butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1-1/2 cups sugar or Splenda
