When I read the lady say she lived at one time in Wilson,NC(sometimes pronounced<br />WULSON) that sealed the deal for me to make her recipe They all loved it! I was so glad I made it, I had to take my hat off cause it was feeling too tight for my swelled head? Why Wilson help make up my mind was that I graduated from Atlantic Christian College there in 1965. Wilson had quit a few good hot dog places when I was there, sadly Mable went of business the year I came to Wilson but Parker's Bar-B-Que was going strong! You could eat family style(fried chicken, Brunswick Stew, Boiled Potatoes, corn sticks and sweet tea for $1.47 including tax! Shamefully one of the owners ask me and my room mate to leave saying something about him eating 4 bowls of Bar-B-Que and me 20+ pieces of chicken? <br /> You can't beat this chili recipe I made it out of 2 lbs 85-15 and kicked it up a bit with 1/2 ts of cayenne, 1 1/2 ts of black pepper and added a 3rd more to all ingredients plus 1 cup of water. Mable sure new what she was doing!!
